Detecting and locating objects or anomalies embedded within the concrete, including but not limited to steel reinforcements, wire mesh, tendons (post-tension cables), electrical metal conduits, pipes, and potential voids beneath slab for structural integrity, as-built verifications and structural assessment for hit prevention (safe drilling, coring, cutting or breaking works), that leads to optimal decision-making in mitigating the risk of hazards, unreasonable constraints or project delays. Scanning also enables the determination of rebar spacing, depths and concrete cover.
