DYNAMIC LOAD TEST & PILE DRIVING MONITORING
Dynamic Load Test (PDA)
High strain dynamic load test (PDA) is a fast and cost effective method to assess the pile capacity and integrity. It can be performed on most types of the piles; onshore or offshore. Site productivity increases as the dynamic load test can be carried out on several piles within a day. ARGES supplies self-lifting impact systems from 14 Tons up to 120 Tons. Our Engineer is well trained and has achieved Advanced Level in the PDCA/PDI Dynamic Measurement Analysis Proficiency Test. Dynamic Test is standardized by ASTM 4945-12 Standard Method for High Strain Dynamic Testing of Piles. |
Dynamic Pile Monitoring
Dynamic pile monitoring is used on driven pile to ensure the pile structural integrity during driving and the data may be used to assess the pile capacity at the end of driving. This method can be used for onshore or offshore piling works. Prior to the construction operations, Engineer will carry out wave equation analyses to formulate driving acceptance criteria, assess the stresses on pile during driving and advise on suitable hammer for the operations. During the field operations, data such as blowcount, stresses, driving energy, actual soil resistance at the time of monitoring will be captured in real time. |
ARGES PDA Dynamic Load Testing Impact Hammers
ARGES PDA load testing systems are available with range from 14 Ton to 200 Tons. Our impact systems are designed to activate large range of test loads. The system includes guide frame, verticality adjustment hydraulic system, self-lifting hydraulic system and hold & release mechanism.
It is important that a sufficient hammer weight is used for testing of bored piles. Typically, the hammer weight shall be at least 1% of the required test load.
